Okay, so you all know I was supposed to have a job. Well, I did…for eight hours. After a very grueling day working in an environment where no one but the secretary seems happy, I quit at the end of my shift. I don’t really want to get into details, but I am now back at square one to find a job.
- The weather up here has been utterly ridiculous. It’s been 105+ degrees for the last week, which finally breaks over the weekend. I have never been so happy to see 95-degree weather in my life.
- My birthday is in 18 days, and it’s freaky.
- Philosophy and Sociology are going to kick my ass, and I signed up yesterday for my Term 2 classes (which will mark the beginning of my second year of college–I MADE IT!!!), taking World Literature and the Psychology of Abnormal Behavior. It’s kind of funny that I am taking an English and Psychology course for Term 2, which is how I started out my first year of college.
- I have moved back into my room from sleeping on the living/dining room carpet for several weeks, since the neighbors have moved. That alone has been quite a struggle.
And I think that’s it. I hope everyone who’s an American enjoys their Independence Day, and I will talk to you all soon!
