I realize I never did my usual post-Christmas post. Christmas in 2015 was pretty awesome, and it was pretty quiet. My sister woke me up at 5:30 am, and I screamed upon seeing this person standing in my doorway. It was freezing, and the complex was dead and very little people were awake. I got some pretty amazing gifts (which I took no photos of):
- new Bose headphones
- An iPod touch (yes, I still use them!)
- Divergent/Insurgent from my sister
- A World Market gift card
- 2 Target gift cards
- A Bed, Bath, and Beyond gift card
- Amazon gift card (because people know me)
And because I am a terrible person, I cannot remember the rest, or I am choosing to abstain from sounding like a snob with whatever else I received.
This has nothing to do with Christmas, but I bought the Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring Extended Edition DVD for ridiculously cheap. And I have to say that the movie should have included these scenes, because it filled up a lot of the plot holes that were in the Theatrical Edition (like how did Arwen and Aragorn know each other so well, or why Boromir acted like such an ass to Aragorn). Most of the scenes were done long before Gandalf’s showdown with Balrog, but I loved it. I am such a nerd.
